    • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
    • 1/2 cup butter, cubed
    • Eggland’s Best Eggs
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup chopped nuts, optional
    • FILLING:
    • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • Eggland’s Best Egg
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

    Directions to make Chewy Cream Cheese Brownies Recipe

    1. Preheat oven to 350°. In a microwave, melt chocolate and butter; stir until smooth. Cool slightly. In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar. Stir in vanilla and chocolate mixture. Gradually add flour to chocolate mixture (batter will be thick). Stir in nuts if desired.
    2. Spread half of the batter evenly into a greased 13×9-in. baking pan; set aside.
    3. In a small bowl, beat filling ingredients until blended. Gently spread over batter. Spoon remaining batter over filling; spread to cover.
    4. Bake 45-50 minutes or until filling is set. Cool on a wire rack 1 hour. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Cut into bars. Refrigerate leftovers. Yield: 4 dozen.
